FIVE days to go before Justice League hits the movie screens! Halfway through the countdown and we can't barely wait any longer! Warner Bros., just release the movie for the public, please! The wait is long and excruciating, good thing we have DC Animated films to tide us over in anticipation of the movie. Here are some of the DC animated films that you might want to watch before Justice League hits the movie houses.

5. Justice League: The New Frontier

Justice League: The New Frontier is an animated movie adaptation of the Darwyn Cooke's The New Frontier which won an Eisner award for best limited series, best coloring, and best publication design. It also won a Harvey Award and a Shuster Award. The animated movie, on the other hand, was praised for being one of the best animated films that came out of Bruce Timm. Animation is amazing and the story is faithful to the comicbook.

4. Justice League: The Flashpoint Paradox

During SDCC 2017, it was announced that the solo-Flash movie is entitled Flashpoint. It was also reported earlier this week that Flashpoint will depend on how the fans react to the Justice League movie. While everything is still up in the air, it wouldn't be bad to watch The Flashpoint Paradox. The animated movie was based and is faithful to its comicbook counterpart, Flashpoint. One of the highlights in this animated movie is the battle between Amazonians and the Atlanteans. We know they will have a role in the early invasion of Steppenwolf in Earth. Hence, seeing them in action against each other is a nice way to prepare for the movie.

3. Justice League: Throne of Atlantis

Throne of Atlantis is an animated movie adaptation of Justice League. vol.2 (New 52). It is a good animated movie which delves into the story and origin of Aquaman. On the assumption that Zack Snyder relied heavily with the New 52 Justice League storyline, certain elements and narratives from this animated movie might also be used in the movie. Moreover, it seems like the solo-Aquaman movie is primarily based in this animated movie/comicbook.

2. Superman/Batman: Apocalypse

An alien ship makes a landing in Gotham Harbor and upon inspecting the space craft, Batman discovers that Kara, the young girl inside the ship, is of kryptonian descent. Darkseid was able to brainwash Kara prompting Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman to attack Apokolips. Batman threatens Darkseid of destroying Apokolips should he fail to release Kara from his mind control. Darkseid obliges but later on invades Earth with the primary purpose of killing Superman. Its a fast-paced action with a lot of drama. Its a good filler before the movie since rumors are circulating that Batman found a female kryptonian.

1. Justice League: War

Justice league: War is an animated movie adaptation of Justice League: Origin. The animated movie added a couple of elements that were not found in the comicbook. One of which was the involvement of Shazam. Considering that rumors of his appearance in the movie is also circulating, this might be a good movie to watch before Justice League. Shazam, in Justice League: War, places a pivotal role in defeating the Darkseid and his parademons.

Justice League comes to theaters on November 16, 2017. Fueled by his restored faith in humanity and inspired by Superman's selfless act, Bruce Wayne enlists the help of his newfound ally, Diana Prince, to face an even greater enemy. Together, Batman and Wonder Woman work quickly to find and recruit a team of metahumans to stand against this newly awakened threat. But despite the formation of this unprecedented league of heroes-Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash-it may already be too late to save the planet from an assault of catastrophic proportions.
